In charge of the work of ethnic and religious affairs, civil affairs, human resources and social security, water conservancy, agriculture and rural affairs, rural revitalization, meteorology, as well as women and children.

In charge of the Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, the Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs, Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, Taizhou Water Conservancy Bureau, the Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (Taizhou Municipal Rural Revitalization Bureau) and the Administrative Committee of the Taizhou Agricultural Development Zone.

Acting as a liaison with the united front work, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Taizhou Municipal Government, the Taizhou Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Taizhou Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation, Taizhou Municipal Meteorological Bureau, Taizhou Municipal Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, Taizhou Federation of Trade Unions, Communist Youth League Taizhou Municipal Committee and the Taizhou Municipal Women's Federation.
